Help us keep things moving! Transport volunteers play a key role in rescue operations — dropping off cats or kittens at their foster homes, taking them to spay/neuter appointments, delivering medications, picking up supplies, and handling other simple but essential tasks. Every ride helps save lives.
At Bobbie’s Street Cats, we believe that the key to meaningful, sustainable change in community cat populations lies in trust, consistency, and hyper-local focus. As a 501(c)(3) dedicated to targeted, regionally based spay and neuter work, we concentrate our efforts within just one and a half zip codes in South Central Los Angeles. Since December 2023, we have fixed 2,126 cats, with 94% of those cats coming from 90011 and the city portion of 90058. By committing to such a small footprint, we are able to build deep, lasting relationships with community members—many of whom become active participants in our mission to reduce suffering and overpopulation among street cats.
Help us spread the word! We always need support sharing our social media posts, posting on local neighborhood groups about TNR, and raising awareness about our need for fosters and adopters — and why it’s so important to fix cats before kitten season hits.

Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) takes a team — and there are many ways to get involved! Volunteers help with community outreach, scouting trapping locations, coordinating with property owners and feeders, and assisting on trapping nights (usually Tuesdays).
TNR requires a car for transporting traps to and from sites and picking up cats for return after surgery (typically Sunday evenings).
TNR is hands-on, deeply rewarding work that calls for patience, persistence, and a true passion for helping cats. If you’re ready to roll up your sleeves and make a tangible impact, this is for you.
